Kim Ashley
Associate Counsel
I am an experienced litigator with over 20 years of assisting clients in the areas of family law, personal injury, estate litigation and estate administration. I also assist clients in obtaining legal authority to manage the personal and financial matters of a family member who is not capable of taking care of him/herself. I enjoy the connections made with clients while helping them navigate through the process of what is most often a very difficult time in their lives.
I was born and raised in the Yukon. I obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia in 1996 and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Alberta in 1999. I was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2000.
I first practiced at a large Vancouver law firm before relocating to the Fraser Valley where I practiced for 20 years at a mid-sized Fraser Valley law firm, first as an Associate and then as a Partner. I am proud to join the Zacharias Vickers team who are passionate about the work they do and are dedicated to providing value to the community.
When not practicing law, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, camping and staying fit. I also care about my community and giving back. I have been a member of the Chilliwack Mt. Cheam Rotary Club since 2004 and currently sit on the Board of Directors. I am also currently a board member of the Chilliwack Children’s Foundation.
